Course Description:

This course provides comprehensive training on the implementation of an Energy Management System (EnMS) according to ISO 50001 standards. Participants will gain the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively establish, maintain, and improve an EnMS within organizations. The course covers key aspects of energy management, including policy development, energy performance indicators, energy auditing, and compliance with ISO 50001 requirements.

Course Objectives:

• Understand the fundamentals of energy management and the importance of ISO 50001 certification for organizations.
• Gain practical knowledge and skills to implement an effective Energy Management System in accordance with ISO 50001 standards.
• Learn how to conduct energy audits, identify energy-saving opportunities, and establish performance indicators for continuous improvement.

Assessment Method:

Participants will be assessed through a combination of written assignments. The assignments will include case studies, and energy management action plan. The final report of the course concepts, principles, and implementation strategies.
