Notice regarding Seat Withdrawal from MBM University

NOTICE REGARDING SEAT WITHDRAWAL
Provisionally admitted students of B.Tech./B.Plan./B.Arch./M.C.A. First Year (I Semester) and Lateral Entry who wish to withdraw their admission from MBM University, Jodhpur are hereby notified to follow the following steps:
- Go to Student Portal (https://student.onfees.com) and login. If you don’t have a password, please use the Forgot password option to set a new password.
- Click on Applications > Click on “Apply” button > Choose Application Type:
“Seat Withdrawal Application”. - Fill the application form carefully (specially bank account and fee details) and submit.
- Wait for upto 15 minutes for verification of your application by the Online team. Once verified, the status will change to “Submitted” and you will be able to download PDF of the application. If your application is not verified within 15 minutes, please call on 99691-90773.
- Print the generated PDF form and submit a hard copy at the Admission Cell.
Please note the following points regarding seat withdrawal and fee refund:
1. The actual date of withdrawal for all purposes shall be noted as the date on which the hard copy of the signed withdrawal application is submitted at the Admission Cell. A copy of Govt. issued identity card and fee payment receipt(s) should be attached along with application form. Original identity card of the candidate and/or submitting person may be required for verification at the time of submission. If a candidate withdraws after the Orientation programme, the student will be required to submit no dues certificate in prescribed format along with the application.
2. The withdrawal application should ideally be submitted personally by the concerned student and/or their parents with signature of both student and one of the parents/guardians as per University records. If it is not possible for the student/parents to submit the withdrawal application in person, the visiting person must carry a handwritten authority letter signed by both candidate and parents (format given as attachment Appendix-1) along with a print of Online application and required attachments. A sample format for such authority letter is attached herewith. In any case, withdrawal application, authority letter or required attachments shall not be accepted through Email/Whatsapp/Other electronic means.
3. Only students who have completed the physical reporting at MBM University after paying the prescribed semester fee will be able to apply for withdrawal from the student portal. If you have not completed physical reporting, please apply for withdrawal on the respective Centralized Admission Process (CAP) Portal i.e. REAP/LEEP/RMCAAP etc. before due date.
4. In any case, refund of seat allocation fees (Rs. 10,000/-) deposited at the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) portal shall be processed by the respective agency as per their refund policy upto the point when such funds have been transferred to the MBM University.
5. Any fee paid by the student shall be refunded UPON CLAIM as per the AICTE Fee Refund Policy by the Accounts Section of the University on the recommendation of Coordinator, Admission Cell. Approximate timeline for refund of funds shall be shared at the time of submission of application. Any documents submitted by students at the time of admission shall be returned within seven days from the actual date of withdrawal. Refund of Hostel Fee (if any) shall be processed through Chief Warden office as per Hostel rules.
6. If a student withdraws admission after completion of enrolment, migration-cum-transfer certificate issued by the MBM University shall be provided to the candidate (upon request) from the Controller of Examinations office.
7. If there is an error in the application submitted by the candidate, the same will be notified by Email/Phone by the Admission Cell. In such a case, the date of submission of revised application form shall be noted as the actual date of withdrawal.
8. These guidelines are indicative and subject to revision as per notifications received from regulatory bodies and/or University. In case of cancellation of seat or forfeiture of admission by University due to an act of indiscipline, involvement in substance abuse, discrepancy in documents, ineligibility for the course/allotted seat etc., the fee refund shall be processed as per University rules.
